On Friday 27th January at our weekly Community Soup Bowls we officially closed the kitchen refurbishment project by saying THANK YOU to the SUEZ Community Fund for their help in providing grant funding to help with the replacement of our kitchen which had served the club well since 2001.

The work took place over a two week period in October 2022 and with the help of local suppliers Howdens & Fabvent, contractors Bryson Electrical & David Laidlaw Plumbing, who worked alongside our in-house fitting team of Jimmy Denholm, Ray Allen, supported by Ian Turnbull & Mel Lockhart, we now have a new and fully operational kitchen facility capable of supporting the club and local community for may years to come.

We took a few photographs from today’s Soup Bowls, where we are now seeing over fifty people enjoying a hearty bowl of soup/bread accompanied by a tea/coffee and a biscuit between 12:00 & 14:00 every Friday.
