Sunday 30th of May saw the running of the 2023 MOJO Open Triples competition at Tweedmouth Bowling Club. The event was sponsored this year by Border Tyres, Belle Meakin, Eddie Skelly & Dougie Cranston and the club wish to thank them for the fantastic support.
With 28 entries from Tyneside to the Scottish Borders this was a lively and competitive competition played in just about every weather condition you can think of apart from snow. It ended with a cross border final between teams from Eyemouth and Tweedmouth and the large crowd witnessed a last bowl spectacular from Stuart Bebbington for his team to retain the trophy once again in 2023, with his team of David Morton & David Purdon.
The club would like to thank all those both competitor and supporters who made this a great days entertainment, with particular praise given to Dougie Cranston behind the bar and the magnificent kitchen team who supplied food and beverages throughout the day.
