Tweedmouth mens club champion David Crisp overcame the rather misty conditions at Spittal Bowling Club yesterday (Sunday 7th May) to win the prestigious Oubridge Trophy, beating last years winner Alister Oliver from Rothbury.
This was sweet revenge for David as both players had contested the 2022 final but with a tight game sitting at 17:15 and with everything still to play for by both players, David took a four on the last end to seal the competition and take the Oubridge Trophy.
