The weather was just brilliant if just a little breezy but with an entry of twenty seven teams the 2022 Robert Cleghorn triples proved to be a day of some fantastic tussles with excitement on every rink. It was great to see so many teams entered and with a large crowd of spectators taking the advantage of the summer sunshine it proved to be an entertaining day of bowls.

The runners up were Davie Drumm, Drew Scott & A-J Condy. Beaten semi finalists Gordon Case, Eddie Skelly & David Crisp / Gary Calder, Stuart Weeks & Tommy Calder.

A big thank you to the green staff for such an amazing green today, our bar & catering staff for keeping everybody fed & watered and all those club members who helped on the day. Once again we are indebted to our event sponsors Border Tyres & Belle Meakin for their continued support.
