TWEEDMOUTH FEAST TROPHY 2023

In what must be one of the closest ever Tweedmouth Feast Trophy finals, David Crisp took the title by one shot following an extra end decider over Ian Turnbull. Both players played some tremendous and exciting bowls, giving the large crowd a fantastic evenings entertainment, ending up “peels” (the same score) after fifteen ends of bowls. David & Ian played an extra end decider with both players in winning positions during the extra end, before David won by one shot. David wins the title for the second successive year having overcome Bobby Dryden in the semi-final and then Ian (who is a previous winner) in the final after Ian received a bye into the last round following the withdrawal of Stuart Bebbington due to ill health.

The trophy was presented by the 2023 Salmon Queen Mae Morton, supported by her attendants.
