After a day of some superb bowling at Tweedmouth green, which was enjoyed by a large contingent of spectators, the triple of Norma Renton, Dilys Toddrick & skip Margaret Robertson overcame a robust challenge (right down to the final end!!) by our runners up today of Margaret Hamilton, Kathy Mann & skip Jill Dickie. With the weather playing its part everyone enjoyed a fantastic day and kept fed and watered by our our steward Dougie ably supported by Trevor in the kitchen. A BIG thanks must also go to Brian Lennon our assistant match secretary for the way the competition ran like clock work and to our green staff and Green Ranger Bobby Dryden for getting the green to play so exceptionally well. Lastly and by no means least, can we also pay tribute to Brian Hossack and Sharon Hossack of A1 CABS who provided today’s sponsorship.
